Painting from my Blue Monotype SeriesThe term 'monotype' comes from the Greek and means 'unique' or 'one of a kind'. This refers to the fact that each print is an individual, one-of-a-kind work of art.
The main appeal of monotype is its unpredictability and the ability to manipulate the image by experimenting with different colours and materials. As a result, each print is distinctive and ideal for creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere.
The Monotype style allows me to express my creative freedom and produce distinctive works of art that are unique and organic in origin.
