Noah is an eighteen year old girl who lives with her twin brother Oliver, and her best friend Ian. Ever since she was a child, she was best friends with her brother Oliver and his friend Ian, and they had their entire life planned out since they were eight years old. Even though she is living alone with her twin brother and her best friend Ian, who are all the same age as her, they still go to school. They are all in the same grade, which is 12th.

Noah has been home schooled ever since she was eight years old after she had the 'accident'. When Noah was eight years old, she let her jealousy get the best of her and ended up fighting with her brother. After the fight, she snuck out in the middle of the night and tried to make her way to her tree house that she had built with Oliver. Her tree house was her safe space. While she was walking in the woods, she had tripped over a rock and fell onto a branch, leaving her right eye and arm with scars. Soon enough, her mother and brother noticed she was missing and ran into the woods after her. they brought her back to the house and then to a hospital. The scar on her right eye led to her being blind in that eye. (She already had bad vision anyway.) Since then, Noah has learned from her mistakes and she tries not to get so jealous all the time. Now Noah is eighteen years old and is trying public school for the first time in ten years. She is trying to get over her fear of public situations and at least try to make some new friends. Her brother Oliver is one of the most popular people at their school, but on the other hand, her best friend Ian is seen as a quiet loser. Noah is trying to figure out how she wants to get through this tough year of school, but it's not as easy as she thought it would be.
