She was awesome in the 90s cartoon. I also remember Kurt Busiek remarking that he wanted to bring her back during his Superman run soem years ago.

He should do that. Busiek is notorious for his ability of bringing back redheaded superheroines from limbo

Busiek is one of my favorite writers. Especially on Avengers.

Yeah I loved his work on Avengers, IMHO one of the best periods of that CB. He did wonderful things for almost forgotten archvillains like Kang, Ultron and Nefaria. And he even made interesting some C-list characters like Firestar and Justice.

Man knows his continuity, too. That's why I admire him.

Yeah I miss writers that respect continuity and personalities of main characters. They are now in minority. One of the reasons why I almost stopped following certain CBs like the X-Men.

Yeah, I try to follow Busiek's example when it comes to my writing. I'm also a big fan of Roger Stern and Peter David...okay, I admit it...I'm an eighties freak.

You write comic book fanfiction?

I agree. 70s and 80s were the best periods when it comes to American CBs (at least for Marvel, since I'm not familiar with most DC books). First half of 90s also brings back many pleasant memories.

On my FanFiction.net account. Although, to be honest, most of them are based on X-Men: Evolution.

Actually, DC did put out some great stuff in the 1980s. Check out Marv Wolfman and George Perez's New Teen Titans and Crisis on Infinite Earths, John Byrne's Man of Steel, Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns.

Yeah, people tend to bash the 90s, but it didn't start out so badly. At least on the Marvel side of things: Guardians of the Galaxy, New Warriors, etc. The speculator boom and writers starting to depend on gimmicks, "events", and alternate covers messed things up.

Interesting X-Men Evolution was great series; I really miss that cartoon. It had lighthearted nature & the writers perfectly understood personalities of all characters.

Thanks. I will try to check some of those recomended DC CBs in the future.

Yeah, it was a great show. They got episodes on Marvel.com.

And as for those DC comics I mention, they can be found on trade.

Thank you!

I'm glad that someone knows about this great character (not that I'm expert on her). She is like 'what if Superman and Phoenix had a daughter' lol.

More like if Supes and Thundra had a daughter with her personality, lol.
