Just wanted to share some more photos of my babies! They are now 6 weeks old and their markings are coming in, so I've been able to identify what type they are! Poppy (on the left) is a blue English Irish-- her color fades to a soft gray on her belly, with white paws and a white inverted triangle on her chest. And Primrose (on the right) is a Siamese! Her little gray mask started to show up about a week ago, and her rump has darkened up to be a bit more tan than blonde. I love their colors so much, they're so cute aaaaaa

They're also getting more comfortable around me! Every time I walk into my room, they're up on the second level perch just sitting there staring out at me to see what I'll do next! Neither of them will come out of the cage on their own, but they will allow me to pick them up without much fuss now. They snuggle with me for an hour or so every night, and I let them out as often as I can to run around in their "playpen," which is a big plastic bin with holes drilled in it, which a previous pet used to live in a few years ago. Prim has learned how to use the wheel and she loves it!! Poppy would rather tunnel and burrow into a blanket. I'm trying to expand their palettes and feed them new things all the time-- literally right at this moment I'm trying to cook pinto beans from scratch lmao.

But yeah they're doing great and they're growing SO fast I can't belive it! Sometimes I wake up in the morning and I swear they've doubled in size overnight. ♥
