if i decide for the first time in my life to smoke weed I won't die, so, the phrase "smoke weed and die" can't be taken literally. Therefore, he is trying to express the idea that if you smoke weed continuously you can harm your health and eventually die of some sickness that can be like, I don't know, any lung related one, even heart related. Still even if you don't literally die, any drug can take you through hell.

Hey, as long as Weed doesn't run your life, I say do what you want..
It's those where all they think about, all they talk about, all they do is smoke weed. Where they give up everything, their futures.. Their families.. Everything for this little green plant.
I respect those who smoke, and those who don't. Just not those who ruin it for others.
Personally, I do smoke pot. Every day. Now though I smoke every day, I still am doing my best to get my GED. I have money put away specifically for it, and for college. I'm not one of those dumbass potheads who give up and waste away..
Those people simply piss me off.
But anyways, now onto the art itself:
I love the colors you used, and how you made the ribbon-paper-thing look tattered.
The splash of blue was a very nice choice. I've seen other pictures where they went with red.. and it did not look as nice as this. The contrast of colors is simply perfect.
Though, if I could, and I do not mean to offend.. The blunts honestly do not look like blunts. More so, they look like those chocolate cereal straws that like.. Coco Puffs make. I mean, they don't look bad.. They just make me hungry. XD
