my pleasure! this particular card is part of a serial, one of a series of cards. do you see the little number 1. in the lower left corner? there's a whole story here, something to encourage subscriptions, or repeat purchases of products. My guess is that he's like the Keebler Elf, with that little acorn helmet, maybe he lives inside an oak tree? and he's about to thrash some grain (which is sort of just visible on the right) and turn it into flour, or bread or cereal. . . a lot of these type of cards were grocery items, things you cook with and such.
