Waaaaaiiiii, Pita Panu!
*Wendy glomps Peter* This adorable girl is Wendy Darling, as she appeared in the TV series "Peter Pan no Bouken" - that is, "The Adventures of Peter Pan".
It was made by Nippon Animation and aired throughout 1989 on World Masterpiece Theatre.
Yep, you've got a redheaded Wendy in Disney, a blonde Wendy in Nippon's series, and a brunette/black-haired Wendy in Fox's series; the trifecta of hair colours, in fact.
As always, Wendy longs to remain a child and enjoy playing and having fun, and goes with Peter to Neverland to play all sorts of games there. I would say this version's Peter is probably the most scatterbrained I've seen yet, as he forgets Wendy's name mere hours after he met her, then remembers it later and claims he was only pretending to have forgotten (yeah right, Peter). Tinker Bell is just as feisty as ever, too.
There's a whole later story-arc to do with a witch and the girl in the moon, I think, but I haven't seen that yet. I have got a hold of the entire series (thanks iOffer!
), and am slowly making my way through it as we speak. It's a great story, but reading subtitles requires a certain frame of mind for me to be in.

you know, the big issue with this version is that its so hard to find Dubbed in english, andi know at least a good majority of it exsists dubbed

I know! It took me ages to find it dubbed in English - I found a person selling the complete version dubbed, on iOffer some years ago though. Not sure if it's still available there now.

I think Disney's Wendy is typically described as a somewhat "reddish-brown".

I like this Wendy better than Disney's version. She's more tomboyish, if not less-motherly than the others.

Does Disney love redheads? There probably are quite a few, but they do have a lot of characters generally. Still, won't complain, I like redheads too (they also remind me of my first crush). ^^

Ah yes, of the characters I post, I do seem to have a bit of a predeliction for redheads. But as I already said, that is not coincidence - I really do have a thing for the red-haired beauties.
Last I checked, Amy Pond was not a Disney character. But she certainly is a gorgeous redhead.

C) Purple is a combination of blue and RED. The brighter the hue, the more RED. Brown is a darker color of RED. If the color borders on black then the RED has had black added to it to darken it, but the hue is natively still RED.
