With the same eyes its like they are joined by the souls in a divine way. Very cool.
If you're looking for a back story maybe the tiger cub and little girl were in a life threatening situation and one of them saves the other. A being of divine power sees the act of courage and selflessness and bonds the girl and tiger cub as one soul to fulfill a greater destiny. Maybe have them together until the other repays the life debt or keep them together until death. Just an idea. Looking forward to the story you come up with
