I like the fact that he spent the night at the hospital bed...been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, wouldn't go back. My sister ushered in New Years of 2008 in my dad's hospital room. Actually, the saddest one for me was Seymour the dog waiting for Fry...can't get that one out of my head. Anyway, good work...

Thanks, and I agree. I was expecting some nice comedy when BAM! Suddenly those two episodes (which are back to back) became a saddening drama.

The fanfiction stories that I've written have gone the same way...I wrote three stories where Leela actually found her cyclops planet...they're quite melodramatic.
