O o f I almost forgot to upload this rip. I finished it a while ago lmaoAnyway welcome to my favorite piece of human art I've done ever?? This drawing took like a couple days of elapsed time probably bc I'm slow and anatomy is really hard so
total time from it being a sketch to This was probably like 3 months lmfaoSo here's Sasuke. I don't really like him that much, but he's got a cool Aesthetic (tm) and I really appreciate it so I had to draw him.

Vision: I never know exactly what this section means but if it means like...your vision for a piece or like the aesthetic/appeal you were going for then I give it a 4.5! You had a very clear idea, things arent confused. I can tell the vibe and the feel! You used all the right colors and lighting for a piece like this. The only thing that could have elevated it would be some flashy background stuff or like some debris or dust floating by to amp up that wind blowing effect. Overall a great vision and a great interpretation of what you were trying to create!
Originality: In terms of like a ground breaking new super unique type of art it's a 3! It's a classic anime type pose that a lot of people do, with that classic dark lighting and bright neon light. THAT BEING SAID, you did it very well!!! I personally LOVE the classic bad ass cool edgy anime poses and just because people draw them all the time DOESN'T MAKE THIS ANY LESS GOOD! Plus it's Sasuke how original can you get with this edge lord when 90% of DA does edge lord art.
Technique: In terms of technicalities here I think you did pretty damn good! Coloring line art is taking it a step above and behind because THAT SHIT IS ANNOYING LET ME TELL YOU!! And the way you did the lightning is exactly how it should be rendered like!!! The white middle with colored glow, THAT IS IT! Too many times I see people fudge that up. PLUS how harsh the light affects his figure and how contrastingly hard your shadowing is is absolutely correct and I am here for it! (IThe ground shadow also is harder closer to him and softer further away which is also super good to notice!!!) Plus with the wing blowing you have all of the fabric and hair flowing in the correct direction and it all falls together so nicely!! The only loss in points is for Background stuffs but honestly bitch me too I hate doing BGs.
Impact: Overall a 3.5!!! It def gets the aesthetic across, I can feel the energy, and with some sick tunes playing I could totally feel this piece even better! It has a nice dark cool battle impact going and I LOVE THAT! The only reason it loses points is because it's not a super action pact pose with lots of stuff going on and a BG to get lost in (which again fuck backgrounds I think this is great).
OVERALL: I love the piece A LOT!!! You did so much and compared to your other pieces you went above and beyond!! You executed your idea very well, it wasn't the most unique thing but it's fuckin Sasuke he's gonna do something like that it's expected! It fits and works very well. The piece is done technically very well with a lot of nice attention to detail, and it gives off a nice strong battle/edgy vibe that I am all over and can def get into!

Secondly, you make a really good point about making the background windy. Ngl I completely forgot about fitting the scenery into the piece, since I sorta half-assed it (which is rather obvious), but that's a good pointer for me to keep in mind in the future!
Third, LMAO yeah I didn't expect to get too high on this one since it's a pretty typical pose but thank you anyway!!

Uhh fifth, that's a good point! Tbh I only drew that background because I wanted it to be a complete piece but I had absolutely no plan and it definitely shows rip. I'll definitely try to plan ahead in the future!!

Backgrounds are always a fight and takes so so much energy and motivation
With time BGs will be easier and more fun LMAO!
Planning BGs usually help a lot and makes the process faster and easier bc I know I legit never plan bgs and they are always a pain FHLDASFH

It was a good suggestion, though! I'll definitely keep that or something similar in mind the next time I do a windy piece, so that the background gives some indication of it actually being windy. And asldkjfsakd that is very true, backgrounds are never done, no matter how much detail you put into them

alksdjf Yeah that's true, the few times I do try on backgrounds I always get burnt out and have to leave it and try again another day. But I hope they do get easier bc they are fun! And ASKLDFJASD yeah lmfao. I heard that drawing the background first and putting the characters in second helps?? but I've only done it a few times so I'm not sure how well it actually works rip
