Alrighty then. Got bored in class earlier and thought I'd try my hand at actually trying to draw something without having a reference right in front of me. Granted, I had to go back after the fact and tweak some things with more of a reference in front of me, but I think it came out alright.

I like to think I've progressed at least a bit since about a week ago. I dunno, guess you can be the judge of that.

Think I'll be trying to color these soon. C: And refine them a bit more before I upload instead of just kinda uploading them as raw sketches as I am now. We'll see.

YEAH, TWO DIFFERENT CANINE-LIKE THINGS. lolz. If you've seen the movie Balto, the left one is modeled slightly after the character of Star (whom I <3333) while the one on the right is modeled a bit more like Balto himself. I think it's easier to draw something along the lines of the one on the right, personally... but I actually enjoy the look of the left more. A little more cartoonish. Star's like that in the movie and I think that's partially what draws me to his character.

I'll quit rambling. Sorry, you have to understand, I come from a writing background. I can type all day if I have to and not realize I'm just droning on. D:
