This piece, it isn't some overly fancy art. Before anyone points it out, the colorization isn't spectacular. It's roughly drawn. All as intended... this isn't a piece made to wow and amaze anyone. If it does, well, that's fine... but it's intent was to express a feeling. Something I'm feeling the closer Christmas falls upon us...The holidays like this... they're when I miss my family the most. Especially my mother. She's long been laid to rest, many years, but it never seems to get easier. I miss her so much. I drew this to give life, and perhaps a meaning, or understanding, to my feelings...
Just thought I'd share a bit more of my life... thank you.

Nothing really ever makes the pain of losing ones' mother go away. It's just something that I need to come to terms with, but I'll never stop crying over her loss. But thank you for trying, hon.

As much as I'd want to answer each of you separately, I find that I'd just have an easier time giving out a single comment to everyone... I just want to say thank you, to you all, for your kind words, your thoughts, and your support. This is a very trying time for me, this year especially... not only is it another year without my mother, but a year that has been quite nasty to me as a whole... this only made it that much harder.
But, I know you're all here for me. With each of you, and the love and support of my sweetheart, I know I can make it thru. Next year, hopefully will be better. A new beginning... Still... I will always feel this missing piece of me. She was an amazing woman, my mother... The world will never know another like her, I strongly believe that. She was everyone's mother, grandmother, and best friend.

We all loose love ones in out lives, they all hurt and some more than others, a mother is probably the hardest to loose,

I don't intend to add this to my favorites, because it'll merely get lost among everything else. I intend to save this to my computer and keep it forever. I just lost my grandpa last month, and I still feel it in my heart. I think you're fantastic to be able to capture that feeling in a simple piece of art, and never forget, though they're gone, they're not ever forgotten.

awe that is sad, it's never easy though we all get to that point sooner or later, so you know you're not alone in that extent, but still, I hope you don't let the grief ruin your holiday, and if you ever need to talk, there's me as well as lots of your other friends around
