Haha so I just started playing Pokemon X, and here's a little bit of my current team.ΒI haven't really changed my clothes around, but I did add a yellow flower pin.Β

Aww I like the use of textures and color palette, Now I want to try something like this. It remembers RPG illustrations. the pokemon look pretty and the girl although it misses some perspective and anatomy it does look good with the type of illustration. I just pity the fact that the background is a bit neglected.

Yeah, I agree with you, the anatomy and perspective does have its flaws, but I'm going to work every day to work on it!
And I'm a bit of a lazy butt when it comes to backgrounds, but I hope to work on that haha!

I really like how this picture looks in terms of colors and textures. It reminds me a bit of watercolors. Also very nice outfit - it's cute and a bit dollike, but also classy.
The shading is good for the most part, but maybe you could play with the shadows in the folds of her dress a bit more? Because they look a little flat and lifeless. Also the yellow pokemon's pose looks a bit uncomfortable - it looks as if his front legs are hanging in the air. I think, playing around with the shadows on his body and the girl's legs could fix that.
In terms of anatomy. I like the pose she's sitting in, it looks relaxed and comfortable. One thing that looks a bit off to me is though is that the lower part of her left leg looks a bit too thick. I mean, legs kind of narrow down towards the bottom, plus that part where the leg attaches to the foot is supposed to be extra narrow and bony. It varies a bit from person to person, but still.
Overall though it's a very neat & pretty drawing. My favorite pokemon has got to be the blue bird, it looks so adoarble. Good job!

Love this! It's very adorable and I like how you applied your own style to it. I like how the drawing seems to have a papery texture to it. I would love to see this having a background setting like grass or something. It looks great though!Β
