<< First | < Previous | Next >Update 5/6/14: I'm sorry for being so horribly indecisive about this, but I decided to try out the thicker outlines again. I made a poll earlier to see which style most people liked better, and while a huge majority were "indifferent", among those who did prefer one over the other, "thicker lines" seemed to outweigh "thinner lines"--and I think I prefer the thicker style too--so I went back and timed myself as I drew them in. All in all, it took roughly 45 minutes to outline everything, which doesn't seem to make a really big difference as far as efficiency is concerned (since an update usually takes anywhere between 15 to 20 hours to complete).
You can view the original page here . You're still free to let me know which you prefer. If people decide they like the thinner lines more, then I may bring it back~ All the other changes are staying, though. ;x

This would probably be more hilarious and unexpected if Ken wasn't already dressing in drag every other crack stream. :V
As I've said before , I made a lot of stylistic changes to this page in favor of more efficient updates. I'm still trying to find a happy middle-ground between quality and quantity, so any feedback would be really appreciated (and don't worry about hurting my feelers). If you're finding it tricky to notice a difference, some of the major changes include: thinner line-art (i.e. no more thick outlines), slightly different greyscale tones, addition of a shadow layer, and simpler speech bubbles.
WHO'S THAT RACK CAMEO?! Nah, just kidding. I was super tempted to cameo someone there, but I decided to behave myself and save the it for the next page~
Note: I've been getting a lot of comments saying that the perverted old man reminds people of this video . ;x

After comparing the two images, I think you made the right call with the thicker outlines. It helps define the space and give the reader a clear point of focus.

Ken in drag, LOL. Oh man, IF ONLY that had been in the games! Would have made it so much more entertaining.
Also, I imagine Bill having a British accent, for some reason. And in my head, Puff sounds like Fluttershy. XD
I will say, the Pokemon you have on your "team" are ones I'd generally overlook in a game of my own, but you've made such a funny, endearing, wonderful, cracked out cast here. I never knew that I could feel such attachment towards a Fearow or be impressed by a Gloom.

I suppose, it would be better to draw thinner lines if your Nuzlocke wasn't b/w, but this way thicker lines actually help to distinguish between objects. Also it's kind of your style now, idk.
However, the second variant doesn't look bad either

Thicker lines are better, because they make characters get out a lot more from the background; however, I think you exaggerated a bit in this page, above all with the smaller figures. It would be nice to modulate the lines' largeness considering if the character is near or far from the "reader's view".

This was in the Anime, and not in the games.
This causes me to believe that this is some sort of intricate prank either by the old man himself, or the Gym as a whole.
Also, I believe this also means we an entire battle with Ken dressed in drag.

About the line thickness, I did vote that I prefer the thicker lines, only because it makes the characters pop out more. Whatever you do is perfectly fine though!

Thicker lines represent you more. Thinner lines look better when you scale down the characters (for instance Ken holding the cloth while pointing one finger to the geeZer, last frame on the left)
Nevertheless, pick one you feel comfortable the most. For us, we just eagerly wait for your next update and enjoy it ^^
