PUttingdetails straight to pen is something that I personally used to do, but find it hard to scan properly into the computer, that's why I turn to pencils first, then scan digitally ink digitally. But I certainly admire the output from the pen straight away - it's somehing that I find it hard to do, but wow! it sure is amazing!

Pen and pencil have different qualities, but a piece done completely with pen has a very raw quality that is not possible with an inked-over pencil drawing. When doing inking(tracing), u must think of the final output, it is not just tracing, but u must draw with the pen.

Durandus, thanks for your comments. There is a technique to this. Basically I did a rough ink drawing of the robot, familiarizing myself with its form. Heehee for ink u can cover mistakes with a black patch, just as long as the mistake isn't too big. In the future I'll post some more stuff done with ink.

I should say more than just awesome... So I will!!
First of all.. The details are wonderful! You definitly put a lot into this ( or at least what I would think is a lot ).
Secondly, to do it all in pen and make little to no mistakes ( looks like none to me ) is an incredible challenge that you most impressively took on. That practically never works out for me.. I always need to give myself some guides.
Finally... Awesome!
