[EN] "L'Antichambre" - Illustration of a scenario by Jean-Baptiste Garnier for a French project of fantasy movie.
Here is the illustration I was talking about, combining Art Nouveau and Art Deco to illustrate the aesthetics that can be found in some hôtels particuliers in France. The forest is inspired by the beautiful "Wistman's Wood" in Dartmoor, England.
And the beautiful pre-Raphaelite figure in the center : Psyché Ophiuchus

Voila l'illustration dont je parlais combinant Art Nouveau et Art Déco pour illustrer l'esthétique que l'on peut trouver dans certains hôtels particuliers en france. La forêt est inspirée de la superbe "Wistman's Wood", dans le Dartmoor, en Anleterre.

Wonderful scenery and composition. The way the frame opens into the scene and there's like a window to another world opening up in the middle of the picture really draws you in. And I like the font you used for the design of the title in the middle.

Waaaah, magnifique ! J'adore l'ambiance de ce dessin, les formes tourmentées des branches, le détail du fer forgé et de la toiture (enfin, de ce qu'il en reste ^^). Le cadre et le travail à la feuille d'or sont aussi splendides (mais ça, j'ai l'impression de l'avoir déjà dit trop souvent) !
Par contre, je ne vois pas trop où est la partie art déco... les formes géométriques du bas du cadre, peut-être ? Ou c'est simplement moi qui ne situe pas bien ce courant artistique ?
