Description
A sad little rat by the sea. You have to understand that this pic is VERY old. It's based on the Redwall books by Brian Jacques. I like them, except that they are so stereotypical. Through the books there are one, maybe two, kind rats. Well, all rats are not evil.Related content

Ah, Blaggut... It was years since I read a Redwall novel and I can't remember most of the characters, but I remember Blaggut. He was one of my favorite characters, because he showed that not all rats were inherently evil. But this is just an generic good rat ; )

Is there actually books in that series with Vermin that are not evil? I dont read them as much as i used to put i tried to find one that had at least a Mostly non-evil vermin. I only found a close one in, I believe Outcast of Redwall.

Yeah, I know! I really used to like the Redwall series when I was younger, but then I got really tired of Jacques' way of painting everything in black or white. I remember that guy in the Outcast of Redwall, and except for him I can only think of two vermin who's been decent. Hmm.

After I read about 3 books I was like the vermin dont HAVE to be evil.
The olny time I saw good besides the Outcast at the VERY end was, I believe in the same book, when two Stoats joind Redwall for a while. Then accidently killed someone and ran away.

Yeah, and then there was some female pirate captain who gave her life to protect some Redwallers against a lizard... but otherwise I can't think of any :/

There are TONS of female vermin though they aren't prominent in the earlier books.
Mainly and 7th and onwards he started packing tons of female enemies in, but before then the hordes (Not counting Sela) were almost all male.
Surely you remember Antigra? The Grand Fragorl, Tsarmina?

I never was bothered by the black and white thing, I just read them so so so much over and over obsessing non-stop that I just got burned out from Redwall
