Yeah. Honestly though, poor Akira Toriyama didn't have much of a choice. Because of how popular DBZ was, the executives were wanting the series to continue, even though Toriyama-san wanted to end the series on The Cell Saga, but well, the rest is history. Don't get me wrong though, I do like the characters from the Majin Buu Saga onwards, but my number one is, and always will be, Gohan from the Cell Saga!

Its not like adult Gohan isnt hot, but he could have been more, ... well just *more*.
Though in his current state he is able to bring out his human strength on a saiyan level. Which is pretty interesting. But i think he could have done that too even if he had trained his saiyan half blood more.
Also... in my opinion the entire DB-Universe has the potential for so damn much more. Though the newest series, this Dragonball Heroes thing... is interesting in some points, but... not the way a possible future season of dragonball should be.
There is so damn much more that could happen. Like other saiyans who have survived through other ways and on other planets or ships, far away from freeza. Or again something with the saiyan, but related to some kind of time travel, or multidimension universe, and what so ever is possible.
I mean one of the goals of the pure blood saiyan could be to rebuild their planet. As first step they could try to invade the earth with some men, to rebuild the race on the earth (of course with killing most of the people on earth), though Goku and co. would stop them (of course). But the good person Goku is, the group of saiyan could rebuild the race on a planet near the earth. That would make a deep connection with the saiyan and the earth possible and could bring the universe 7 a new future.
Like i said, there are so damn much possibilities for continuing DB.
And just to mention it, Gohan from other universes of the multiverse, where Gohan could be an evil person, or even the good of destruction, or a *good* god, a pure blood human, a pure blood saiyan, maybe even the saiyan god himself, or whatever else. And that alone with Gohan. Now think about the multiverse with each of the other Z-Fighters!^^

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. There already (possibly) exists other Gohans that look just like him from the Cell Saga.
Sata, a Gohan fused with Geras, a Gohan driven to madness, a Majin Gohan, an alternate Future Gohan with a cybernetic arm, a Revenant Gohan, A Sata-possessed Gohan, Goheezy and even a Gohan Kahn to name a few (from my multiverse of course), but yeah, I see where you're coming from.

Hehehe, there are other possibilities too, like a broken mind, a stolen heart, switched souls, a virus, maybe a slime-being, in more than one way Buu could do some tricks too, even Cell has that option, well and when the dragonballs are in the game too, and if it comes to Dr. Gero of other universes think about what 10 of them could plan together.^^
Think about what Freeza, Cell, Buu, Dr. Gero and Baby could do together. Especially when they are versions of other universes who arent as... easy-minded as the originals.^^

Yeah. I also have Dr. Wheelo, Captain Ginyu & Baby stealing Cell Saga Gohan's body in 3 different timelines, each using his body as their own for their own stuff. Possibilities are endless.

Well, even though its said that Goku is the *hero* of the universe 7, Gohan has the potential to be even stronger as Goku. I mean Gohan could become stronger than Vegetto.
In fact, as far as i know, Goku himself said something related to that Gohan can be stronger as himself.

Of course Gohan ended up just another way as he should have. Well, i hope the next season of the series will change that a bit. And i guess it would be interesting to timeskip the series a bit. like at the end of DB-GT where Goku jr. and Vegeta jr. were to be seen. Well, of course it would be cool to see what happens to another later generation of them.^^
especially when it means that there are more saiyans as now.^^
Think about when some *good*-hearted saiyan from universe 6 (if i remember right.^^) imigrate to U7 to help rebuilding the saiyan race there.
combine the pure-blood fighting lust from saiyans like Goku or Vegeta, with the pure heart of Cabba or the pure joy of Caulifla, then the saiyans will be even stronger as ever before.^^
