They were my favorite part and reminded me of Inari's magatama! His white hair/pale colors too, since Inari was known for favoring white foxes. <3

Yeah it is and comma-shaped. But I think the round beads are common to Inari too (and they were usually a dark blackish color?). But I am not expert on Japanese mythology, the little I know is from scrap readings and Noragami OTL!

Jade I prefer white ones. <3 Green really is too stereotyped.
Usually for jewels or beads though, I prefer blackish/purplish ones, sometimes brighter magenta. In the story project with my sisters, black beads (black pearls) are very important. ;D
This depiction by Kodama looks more like a normal pearl though than one of the other variations she didn't post. ; 3 ;
