I just feel like the way Near solved everything was kind of cheap and could have been done so much better.
Like, yes, I am aware that light had to die eventually but he deserved a better send off in my opinion. He is the all mighty Kira after all.

Like, I consider L's death to be the ending of the show tbfh I just find it to be a more gratifying ending.
I still believe death note is an awesome anime and a great manga but the ending will always be a miss and is easily outdone by the fan made ending (which I highly recommend you check out if you haven't)
