Did you use the grid drawing technique? I remember learning that in 7th and 8th grade art class...that was so much fun. I remember we did the grid technique for a major project and we went outver our inked grid drawing outlines with pastel....mine was awesome. I gave it to my friend afterward and she still has it hanging in her room (that's so touching)

Uh yes and no. I used that technique for Kikyo and Inu, because I was planing on using them in their own little drawing. However I decided I really wanted a cover for my fanfiction, so I watch a whole bunch of Inuyasha so I could learn how to draw Kags, and Sesshy. Then I used photoshop and cropped them all in together. Then finally I scanned a worn piece of folded paper that had been dipped in tea (repeatedly), did a little photoshop magic and overlapped it with the already drawn pic to get an aged look.
I only use grid when I am trying to get a similar pose from another picture. It is one of the funnest ways to draw in my opinion. (I was one of those kids who rocked that annoying coloring book page where they wanted you to draw the picture in the corner. lol, my siblings hated me for it!

believe me it takes forever, and I still don't know that much. I did however figure out how to make some cool 3d planets the other day. lol
