Hi all! As promised, since you showed a significant amount of interest, I created a species called Calendar Cats or Meowlendars, If you prefer~ This description is going to be long but please bear with me if you are interested in making a Calendar Cat~

For all who don't know, a semi-open species is one where users are free to create a member of that species with common traits, but if you want to upgrade to uncommon or rare traits you must pay points.

In greek mythology, there are three parts to the soul: Reason (mental), Spirit (spiritual), and Appetite (physical). I found this concept quite interesting when creating this species. A calendar cat is special type of feline whose soul is physically bonded to a date on the calendar. The date is like its genetic code, inspiring the physical appearance, diet, and how they respond to stimuli in their environment, among other things. This date is correlated to their birthday, and when that day arrives, cats gain the power to grant 1 wish to their owner. Pictured above is an August 12 cat. "But how do you know?" you may ask. In the following sections, we will learn to distinguish this.
Habitat
Since calendar cats are strongly influenced by the date, it only makes sense that they are inspired by seasons/climate as well. Cats are most suited for the environment they were born in because they are unable to shed fur/change color. Common cats tends to live either in climates that have litle seasonal change like the Poles or the Equator (this makes fur coats based on summer or winter most common). However, calendar cats can also migrate in groups (yes they are sociable unlike standard cats) to reach a more comfortable climate if they live in temperate climates.
Diet
Calendar cats' diets vary based on their environment, but they are mostly carnivorous (like a standard cat). They eat mice, small birds , rats, etc. However, if food is scarce they may forage for berries, nuts, and seeds. A winged calendar cat is accustomed to eating fruit from a tree and leaves, while hunting more birds than rodents. Most uncommonly, a desert born or plant based cat may have water storage abilities and photosynthesis. If a cat was born at night, it hunts nocturnally, otherwise it hunts during the day.
Growth and Development
Calendar cats have a slightly longer lifespan than normal cats, living up to 30 years in their ideal environment. However, they are not expected to survive in the wild very long if they are not in their preferred climate zone.
Temperament
Calendar cats are very sociable and get attached to a person, cat, or group very easily. That is why it is easiest to hatch a calendar cat from birth rather than obtain one from the wild. Wild cats can be very moody, bold, angry, and confused, and should not be domesticated. House Calendar Cats are generally excitable, energetic, and lovable. They love attention and need to be played with a lot. They also love to be groomed, but don't touch their heads.
Breeding
Breeding a calendar cat creates some odd exceptions. Calendar cats usually breed to create an entire litter of 2 - 7 kittens and can breed anytime of the year. Like a lot of original species on here (and for simplicity purposes even though it's weird xD) they lay eggs. The hatched kittens will all have the same date, but their color scheme and traits will be a mixture between both parents. Therefore it is possible to have a spring-born cat with the color scheme of a winter cat, for example.

"Tags" hanging down from hat - they're similar to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ema_(Shi… & represent the cats' wish granting abilities
Various calendar pages of the same day throughout the body
Stripes on tail - the number represents the birth month of the cat

Antennae - for better survivability and sometimes, camouflage (seen in sample)
Simple jewelry on the head accessory - seen in the sample as a bow
