She is a proactive damsel in distress, she does not wait to be kidnapped, she goes straight into danger to make it faster and efficient on the bad guys. XD

On occasion I like to imagine how she would look like as a teen, and I try to convince myself that she would not be one of those annoying teens, but a nice, adorable one still.

well, again it is hard to give you a strait answer on that one, though this time its cuz i don't have it. lol
i think gian will have some qualities i would personally find annoying, but mostly because teens rebel. they test limits and try the things the parents are against. simply social catalyst for evolution and whatnot. so it will be quite the amalgamation of perspectives and developmental standards that will decide what she is like at that point. :3

I am aware yous story does not cover that timescale.
I am fine with rebelling, I just want her to not be the 'OMG, Daaad, you are, like, SO annoying...' type of annoying.
I also wonder how she would turn out to be, being raised by such polar opposites as Calir and Kelvin.

oh god. *shutters* if she starts talking all valley girl on kelvin, i think he would seriously have to consider an intervention. ROFLROFRLFOL
i think that will be the main reason for it being so hard to forecast. beyond calir and kelvin, so many other factors take her well outside most accustomed settings for child rearing. and i want to show her mentality reflecting the environment she was raised in. so it will be quite interesting to see what that alchemist's pot turns out in the end.

I assume a lot, but I would very much bet that your story does not go that far into the future.
'Valley girl' that's how you guys call that type of teens? We call them 'stuck up' and 'full of themselves' (Maybe I made the example wrong, I mean the Paris Hilton type of annoying in how tv shows depict popular girls in high school)
Given her new 'parents'/guardian figures, she could either go and turn all badass warrior chick due to their adventures.
Or she takes after Calir's medical skills and becomes a new 'healer' for the party.

'valley girl' refers to the rich snobby type of girls who lives in the expensive valleys of calafornia. i tend to over-generalize it into all those air-head teen girls. another term i like from my sister is 'teeny-boppers' since they tend to have excessive head motions. lol
those would be the 'easy' answers, yes. though i honestly doubt she would fall in so similarly. i don't think linage will as much to do with carrier as you do.

OOhhhh... I always thought 'valley girl' was the rural hick girl stereotype, like the one in overall that goes "y'all" (Had one of them as my english teacher once, very nice woman).
Those girls do move their head a lot... XD
Then she can be a one of those scientists that are all for animals, she seems like the type to feel more at home sleeping amongst lions than in an office.

I would pair her with Gatomon like Kari, not only it's a cute digimon, it can protect her too, and turns into a badass angel chick.
It's been so long since I saw anything Digimon related that I would be hardpressed to remember non-main characters.

haha, i think i went piximon because he looked and acted cute, except he was an ultimate and could kick some ass.
as for gatomon, i could see her working from the prime rookies. i think the question i would have with that is her moral indecision. seems like that aspect would be a bit off; but who is to say it would have the same attitude.

Pixiemon I never liked, it looked to me like some bad fanart of Kirby with arms and legs, so it loked really off to me.

i guess that's kinda why i pictured piximon. something she would raw in the dirt and imagine on till it was real, but imagined hard enough that it could kick some serious ass. XDDDDDDDD
when it comes to the initial rookie attitude and how each tended to complement the other, that i would have to evaluate on a different level. i certainly see your points about the gabu and gato logic...
