Yay... a fanart...Well it's been a long time since I watched this anime (just couldn't get into the Savers season though >< ), and drawing this made me feel all nostalgic. *o*;

Tamers WAS the best season, character-wise. Their actions and attitudes were much more realistic than could be said about the other series--Especially Rika and Taka-chan. Not sure about Saver, though.
...I'm pretty sure renamon's eyes aren't completely black, but still nice.

Tamers was more realistic character-wise, because it's set in OUR world! XD You'll know that it's not set in Adventures/02 World, because of the appearance of Digimon cards (which look exactly like the JP version of the Digi-Battle card game's cards), and the mention of a Digimon show. The characters of Season 3/Tamers of the Digimon anime watch the Digimon Anime of Season 1 & 2/Adventures & 02, and they play the card game. Takato is so into Digimon, that he created his own fan character Digimon: Guilmon, when he saw what the Blue Card did to his Card scanner (Which has "Card Fighter EX" printed on it, and it turned into a Red D-Power Digivice), he looked for the Blue Card, but it vanished after use. So, he tried scanning his notepad that he drew-out EVERYTHING about Guilmon: Looks, Stats, attacks, all that stuff, and, he got his own Digimon egg of Guilmon (funny that the Digimon egg hatached as a Rookie, and not a baby or in-training form eh? It's because Takato created him as only a Rookie form at first), shown on the D-Power's screen. It hatched while he was gone at school. Lucky for him, the D-Power also doubles as a tracker to find the partner Digimon it's registered to. (He would have never found Guilmon if the D-Power didn't have that! LOL!) Nice that it also collects scan data on Digimon, that the partner Digimon that is registered on it finds. (Because Guilmon was made by Takato, it's not in the Digital Worlds Digimon Database and so, doesn't have scan data available to the D-Power Digivices in the Digimon Tamers anime) I have a toy of the Gold D-Power Takato has now. It collects scan data of Digimon MY digimon finds and battles too! (I don't seem to be able to collect scan data on boss enemies though.) I usually stick with Guilmon, but I have other Digimon too. Speaking of which, I have yet to find a Guilmon in Digimon World Dusk, I want him so I can get Megidramon, I can't degenerate my BlackWarGrowlmon to get him. One of the conditions for degenerating BlackWargrowlmon is that I need to have had befriended Guilmon already. What's the point of Degenerating BlackWarGrowlmon to Growlmon if I've already got Guilmon? One of the conditions for Megidramon is I have to had before got Guilmon, and one of conditions for Gallantmon is that I have gotten Megidramon. Now THAT condition I understand why it's there! Since Takato didn't Bio-merge with Guilmon into Gallantmon until AFTER Guilmon degenerated from Megidramon, that condition makes sense.

They need to put this series on DVD. I orignally recorded the episodes when they first aired but the tapes are pretty old.
