ahh wow this is really beautiful <33 I love the lighting and the shading and the background especially. The thorns look really cool and its nice how you blurred them so they wouldn't distract the viewer from the characters. The entwined necklaces are a nice touch too owo

Oh Petal ;w; thank you so much! I tried to make the background look sort of mysterious and 'suffocating' because I honestly believe this is how they feel when thinking of being apart from one another. If the part ways, they will run into the spikes and it'll sting. It's a small hidden message to show their inner struggle. I'm so glad I was able to capture that in my drawing <3

I've been lazy and sort of brain dead lately from all the working I'm doing to really dedicate much effort on my drawings nowadays. But now I'm starting to understand how satisfying it is to deliver quality into my gallery. I think I'll be doing more of those for now on. This looks so good, Yolly! You captured the atmosphere so well, and it's just aHHH so bittersweet man. The contrast of warm and cool colors on either side is super nice, and really makes Ghost and Seven pop. And the soft glow of their tattoos aHHH just looks so good.

So Seven used to be by favorite character of yours
now he's not
because of how he drug poor Lusa around all over the place and used his girlfriends near death experience just to talk to Ryuu :/Β
that's really freaking horrible, and I feel more bad for Lusa now then for Seven or Ryuu.Β

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that, honestly.
But I believe you're getting the wrong message here. Seven never meant to 'drag poor Lusa around all over the place'. I sincerely have no idea what you meant by that. If you are referring to their trip to Light-Tribe because of her near death situation, then, good grief he did. She was going to die, he had no other choice but to bring her in Light-Tribe. And for them joining Light-Tribe was Lusa's genuine decision. I had no idea of it until the gathering happened. I was really overjoyed, and so was Seven and I know this meant even more for him since he was honestly conflicted in whether leaving or staying in Void-Tribe.
For the part of him using her situation as a way to talk to Ryuu, I must say I probably-- most likely, worded it wrong. What I meant was that he was also using her situation as an opportunity to talk to Ryuu since Ryuu had the task to watch over her when Seven wasn't around. Ryuu did so much for him, it would be unjust for me and Seven not to recognize it. Even if he got to talk to Ryuu while she was in Light-Tribe, it doesn't mean Seven was spending all of his time with the tom. His number one priority was to go back to Lusa and take care of her, so not to trouble the healers. He would not sleep and gaze at her all night long to just make sure she wouldn't fade away, stop breathing.
His dedication for Lusa was genuine and honest. That is why I am profoundly shocked by your comment. But if that is how you feel, then I have no power over your words. You are very well free of your opinions and actions.
The only thing I can do is tell you that this submission was meant as a homage for Ryuu and Mokkou, for she is one of my closest friends. History takes us way back to the beginning of TGB, long before you even joined. Thus why I empathized the relation between Seven and Ryuu. It's in commemoration of him and her, because they have both left the group permanently. Β If Lusa was the one leaving, I would have done the same, for Lusa and Bayflight.Β

So first off- I wanted to apologize if I've hurt your feelings Yolly. I really didn't intend to, and this was never supposed to be a personal attack as your friends thought it was. (I don't think your horrible and I never have.) It was just an opinion on the actions of a character I thought were pretty awful at the time. From the previous description you provided on the picture, it did seem like Seven was using Lusa's condition //purely// as an excuse to talk to Ryuu. It made it seem like he didn't care for his girlfriends condition and that was heartbreaking after witnessing Lusa and Seven come so far in their lives- especially since Seven appeared to develop a romantic attraction towards Ryuu while Lusa was still recovering? I thought Lusa was being brushed to the side and got upset- and that's what led to my poorly worded comment. I apologize again, I simply misunderstood.

No it's alright. I can't blame you because I acknowledged how badly I worded my sentences and how it could lead to misunderstanding on the subject. I assure you, Seven would never brush Lusa off, not on purpose at least. I can understand if you still decide to not like Seven after this, because I won't hide or deny that Seven has indeed grown to fall for his childhood friend, and while still dating Lusa. But I made sure to explain how he would not and probably never recognize those feelings as being romantic, since he is very much in love with Lusa, and thus, his love for her blinds him from any other. Which explains why he still assumes the feelings he feels for the tom to be completely platonic.Β

Like I said, one comment is perfectly enough to get the message through, it is unnecessary that a bunch of people do it. The comment may have been uncalled for, but it would be wiser to have Yolly and Twist talk this out instead of repeatedly commenting the same things, as this comment was directed to her and her only. Being her friend doesn't make it your concern either, as it was directed to none of you. I don't see how asking for peace is fueling anything, as asking for peace does not equal starting an argument.

Ah I should really stay out of this, as I really dont need to get myself stressed out into another episode but Artistic-Twist was being rather rude in her comment, and with her reply to Liv as well. Yes its fine to have opinions about characters but that doesnt justify being rude and possibly passive-aggressive. There's definitely a much better way that she could've worded her comment and considering the fact that she not only blocked me for absolutely no reason but also she's criticzing Seven's devotion towards Ryuu, whom is my character, I have a feeling that she worded her 'opinion' in the way that she did for a reason.
And also, its nice to see such a great comment chain on a picture that was meant to see my character off, its a nice reminder as to why I'm leaving this group.

Isn't that comment uncalled for? A dear friend of Yolly's left TGB and their characters were meant to become soulbounds, so of course she's hurt by it. You don't know what is happening between Seven or Lusa, or Seven and Ryuu, this is an open ending with no answer and Lusa only almost died solely because of Tabitha and he was by Lusa's side whenever she needed him and Ryuu was one of the healers to help her get better. Don't assume what happens to their characters when there's nothing to base it on, you're only hurting more people by assuming such things. And it says that Seven is in love with Lusa, whatever he said and did with her isn't some joke. So Lusa was in Light tribe, is Seven not allowed to spend some time with his bestest friend in the whole world?
