i dont mind the background and like how you kept the face brighter than the back its the right way about it. digging the angle and also the varying sizes of your blobby strokes! well done

I like this a lot! However, the background really lets it down. You spent all that time and creative effort on the person, than just kind of slapped a gradient into the background. It would be great to see even something really basic, that compliments the background
