AU setting: Ratmir, a special forces officer, saves Tisha, a young and obnoxious merman, from the lab. The merman promises Ratmir to make his wish come true if Ratmir takes him to the ocean. But there's one condition- they are supposed to exchange a true kiss of love <3

Too late for the party, aren't I!

Sometimes I wish I gave up on the art piece, but the urge to make the characters stay in the moment I've imagined for them and share what I see with you doesn't let me succumb to my wishes, so methodically I'd return to the very same part and redraw it every single evening until I'm happy. I used to get furious! I do get mad at times these days, too, but maybe less! And I think that's important to keep in mind as a self-taught artist not to stress if something goes wrong and if you really want to complete it, next day/week/month your vision will get an update and eventually you'll achieve result. If you feel under pressure, that's another thing, of course! I occasionally find myself going down that path and then that's the signal to put the project on hold or try something easier for now.
Do it ONLY if you're having fun and if you HAVE TO see the complete work, that's what I tell myself!

What do you tend to do if you're stuck? Do you take some time off or keep drawing?
There's no right answer, it's a very individual thing, we're all wired differently and I wonder how you cope if you get stuck! (Bc most times I am lol)
