Biography:
Shohei was born and raised in Saitama City, Japan, and lived a generally quiet life. Growing up, he preferred to be by himself, opting to read at the library than seek out to go play. This continued until he entered the first year of middle school, as he entered a private school. His class was rather tight-knit, spending time with another, with him having an invite. He grew friendly relationships with his classmates over time, though he still was rather reserved. Still, whenever he had an invite, he would go along with everyone and tried to be amicable.
He became closer with one of the classmates, Aoki Haruto, one of the more outgoing and friendly people in his group. Haruto tried to talk to Shohei often to get Shohei used to him and open up more, which worked. Haruto would talk about his interests and plans, which got him talking about his love of idols. Haruto would show Shohei all kinds of idols and their music, which made Shohei interested, and got him to do his own research. Shohei started to talk about idols with Haruto, and both became close throughout their first year of middle school.
During Shohei's third year of middle school, he was invited to a cafe gathering with the rest of class. He was more comfortable with the class this year, as he had gotten more experience. When he and Haruto were leaving the cafe, he was approached by a woman who introduced herself as Inoue Rena, someone affiliated with Flower Agency. She told him that she wanted to scout him to the agency, to which Shohei was shocked at. Rena left soon after giving him her card, which had the company and Rena's information. Shohei didn't know what to do and just tried to put the card away for later, to which Haruto immediately stopped him. Haruto begged and pleaded to at least go try out, as he was aware of Flower Agency. Haruto showed some idols who debuted through Flower Agency, showing that it was an up-and-coming agency, and he might become just like them.
Still, Shohei was unsure if he should go. Sure, he liked idols, but he was unsure if he wanted to be an idol. He was unsure of the lifestyle, as it was the complete opposite of how he's been. It was an impulsive decision on his part, but after more encouraging from Haruto, he went. He went through a few rounds of auditions and interviewing, but with the fact that he was scouted by a producer, he was guaranteed in. He became a trainee, something he thought he could never do.
For the next few years, Shohei underwent through all sorts of training while being a student. Singing, dancing, modelling, his image - he had to work on. As intensive as it was, it made Shohei more appreciative of the hard work that idols go through, and started to realize that he did want to be an idol. Still, in the company, he kept to himself, and he became less involved with his classmates. He didn't mind as he was initially reserved, but the company worried that he might not do well when he will need to work with peers.
One day, he was called into the director's office. The Director announced that his debut will officially now be under way, and that he would be managed by the same person who scouted him. Shohei was incredibly happy, until the Director further explained. He was to apply and change schools to Sunrise Academy, so that he can be surrounded with idols all around, who he can grow close to. He was given a few tasks at Sunrise Academy to grow his peer working skills, to which he had to agree to - It was his Debut on the line. However, he was still a bit reluctant to leave his private school - He grew to know his classmates well, and he'd have to leave. Haruto told him to not worry, as he will nag him to keep in touch.
Shohei went to apply, happy that his debut is coming, but unsure of how he can grow closer to the idols there.
