some variant of "Romeo & Juliet".
Far-far away, long time ago, there were two families. First family was rich and noble. Second family was a poor and low-class. And one day, two children of these families fell in love with each other. But father of girl protested. "How a child from noble family can love a low-class filthy dog like him?!" - he screamed. And quickly found another man as a fiance for his daughter.
She and her beloved were powerless - cruel father locked her in the highest tower of the castle. They're couldn't see each other, they're couldn't run away, young man was able only play for her on harp. Poor girl was in despair...
And, in the morning of wedding day, young bride committed suicide.
Well... after that, her beloved harpist sold his body to the devil for a magical harp, that can summon her soul. Aaaand... devil-possessed body destroyed a town with curse and black magic.
And, unsuspecting of his own death, harper went on to play the harp. Now every night they're meet again
