Firstly, I used this as reference, with permission from the owner: [link]Yeah.. I know I botched it. ...On its own I still think it looks decent, though.
SO, anyway... for starters, this is a project for my materials and techniques class. We were supposed to copy CF Payne's technique.. which is sketching in colored pencil, then doing an acrylic wash, then a watercolor wash. Then you lift out highlights w/ a brush and water. Thenn you do a dioxazyne violet and permanent green light oil wash and lift out highlights AGAIN with a rubber eraser.
Then (if you're me) you mess up all that work you did by going over everything with acrylics and colored pencil. .. yeeep.
Anyway, I like to consider this a tribute to the handsome Jack that died far too young. What an amazing dog. <3
And English Bull Terriers in general are one of my favorite breeds. ;_;

i have an english bull terrier shees called boo and shees all white when i first saw this i thought omg thats my dog i have to comment on it lol its amazing

Aww, thank you. Bull terriers are by far one of my favorite breeds and I intend to own at least one in my life at some point. They're absolutely loveable and adorable.
