Rio is better he went through deception all his life, plus the murder of his family was his former ally long, his only was to get stonger and more power to avenge his family, even if it mean causing human suffing, Jarrod didn't had none of these, he was just a jerk and reliaze his evil doing thanks to Daishi, feel but for Rio than Jarrod, Rio risk his life for the everyone and died, Jarrod just stay alive (that's fukin crazy), at least Rio went down as a true hero, And personally Rio Fur he wears is all smooth and Jarrod is just nappy as hell. So Rio of Jarrod, Rio is the best that's finallyΒ

I get that they had to make him into Gekiranger's Rio for PR, but as for his first few seconds of dialogue I have this to say to him: "GET. YOUR OWN. DAMN TOWEL!!!"'Coz it still angers me that Jarrod was not a gentleman in his first appearance and that he ran off like a coward! And as for the wrap up on things in the final episode..."Well Sir, I don't like it!"Basically Jarrod is welcomed back without him learning a lesson or getting any real uppance. All he needs to do now is brag about that while he looks into the camera, smile an idiotic smile and wait for the light to shine on his teeth! Plus, even if Carnisoar (Not Dai Shi) altered his past, Jarrod STILL had a choice in all this! He chose to harass those at Pai Zhua, he Chose to assault Master Mao and he CHOSE to run away with his tail between his legs like the big chicken-faced coward that he is! To say that Dai Shi made him do all of that is a very vain & conceited cop-out! It does NOT make him look like a good person. It only makes him even worse than he already is!
And really, the whole Dai Shi inside Jarrod thing did not work out at all! And here's a good example why that is: Whiger got beaten by the rangers. Dai Shi took his Rinzen Power and banished him thus sparing him from execution. Scorch & Snapper were shocked at that as if Dai Shi taped over their precious moments video. Casey befriends Whiger out of nowhere. They join forces. Whiger Dies. Upon dying, Whiger tells Casey that he is his friend and that Dai Shi is his enemy and to go kill him for all tigers. In all fairness, that doesn't make the slightest bit of sense at all! No matter how many people say it does!
And the reason he & Camile aren't seen again after Jungle Fury? They've been card contained!These are the charges for Jarrod: harassing & assaulting Pai Zhua students, committing high treason by attacking the headmaster, unleashing an ancient evil & (Here's the Big One!) fleeing from a crime scene!!! And Camile is guilty of being an accomplice!
But yeah, Rio over Jarrod! But I do wish they could have done Jarrod better. But something like that may have to be for another time.

Rio is such a badass, without the extra evil as well. But Jarrod is such a badass too, and he has such a manly voice
I think I can decide on Jarrod here. He wouldn't be caught in such, ummm, interesting clothes or signing. Not that I dislike the singing, but I don't think Jarrod would be caught doing something like that.

I haven't been able to find a place to watch Gekiranger >.< But I have seen all of Jungle Fury and I have to agree with you, Jarrod was a phenomenal character story wise...he's just not as pretty as Rio is all >.>

I terms of looks only, because I haven't seen the sentai virsion, I have to go with Jarrod. His costum looks more threatening, while Rio's... looks like it's form a Final Fantasy game.

Jungle Fury really sucked but Jarrod made it worth watching. He, to me, was the most well scripted character in Power Ranger history.
