I don’t think they are cousins, if they are cousins then it should have said or shown in the wiki 
but pinkie still calls her “friend”

I'm not sure if it's canon or not but they might be? In my universe they're cousins and definitely not dating. 
I don't ship them but don't stop others from shipping them
