Where have all the carefree days gone,Living each of them with a huge smile,
Now days are filled with troubles and so on,
And this has lingered for now a long while.
Ever since I have come of age recently,
Ever since for myself I began fending for,
Ever since I lost my innocent personality,
The days to my feelings have become sore.
Why must there be so much anger,
Why must there be so much anguish,
Seems I'm going deeper and deeper,
In a loop which has no finish.
All I really want are those carefree days,
Where each of them brought a smile to my face,
And all that mattered was to enjoy my ways,
Why has there been such a change of pace?
I have not been the most intelligent I admit,
I have hurt people and in retrospect they to me,
Yet I try my best not to end up picking a fit,
Even if troubled, they all deserve to be happy.
What does the future hold for one, for all,
That, my friends we shall see someday,
Yet even through problems big and small,
I do wish we'd all have those carefree days.

Liek, holy poop. Reaching my years of teen angst, I have just recently began to think of this current affair. It bothers me how time will always continue and the events of the past will never again be witnessed by the innocent mind of our youthful days. Okay... so I'm fifteen. I still don't know what it is yet to fend for my own. But I can, in every way, relate to the meaning of this piece. It's very deep and really connects to those thoughts I've recently been having, which is why I'm completely astonished you made this in the first place. This work is just exquisite!
