Description This is Edgar, the black shifter with the power of Dark matter.
His animal form is a striped polecat.

He functions as the Black faction's spy, robot engineer and hacker.
Edgar is a collected set person. He's easily insulted and don't have any sense of humor. He often have to clean up the other Black Shifters mess and in the start he often got to act as the medic for the four of them (something he dislikes gravely).

Cameron and Edgar has a constant untold rivalry going on as he thinks Cameron constantly insult him and Cameron thinks he's way too touchy about everything. Both of them rival for Wilfred's affection.
Edgar and Kaylin have a sort of big brother/little sister relationship. He often scold her if she's done something bad but he also stands up for her if needed.

According to Edgar's own memories has he been a part of the Magnetic faction who works with infiltrating the human society. He used to work underground as the maintenance guy for the robot systems transporting food and waste in and out of New Devantos. He didn't enjoy company and found it very nice down there only working with robots. For 115 years he worked down there repairing robots and making sure some food transportation got into the shifter districts. One day his key-cards stops working. He resurfaces only to find that he's not in any register anywhere. He blames the electrical faction for glitching him out of all systems as a punishment for working too long with a human job.

Edgars powers are a bit peculiar as he controls Dark Matter. A substance that can not be observed in any known way or  can be interacted with in any way, excepts that it in large masses it interacts with gravity.
Edgar is able to turn into Dark matter making him completely impossible to detect (except for psychics who can sense soul lights). In this state he is also unable to interact with anything. This makes him able to walk through walls and no weapon can hit him. but it makes it impossible for him to press any buttons, deliver any attacks or pick up anything. If he wants to interact with anything he has to appear.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the tunnel they were met by a tall and unassuming man. He stood leaned against the wall with his arms crossed and an electrical lantern by his feet. Beside him was a what looked like a service door, barely visible in the low light.
“I thought you'd never show up.” the man said.
“Well, this little bastard here hesitated with the emergency break for a second so we had to walk a couple of hundred meters. In the dark.” Life answered.
“Follow me.”
The man picked up the light and led the way through the door into a narrow concrete corridor. They walked on a slightly down sloping path for what to Dawson seemed like eons, before arriving at another door. The man fiddled with a key and opened it to an incredibly noisy space.
Huge vehicles hurried back and forth in a gigantic tunnel, shifting tracks with machine precision. Life, Dawson and the man stood atop a service balcony running along the wall for a few hundred meters.
“Wait here I'll call one!” the man shouted over the noise.
He went over to a console and entered something. One of the big vehicles changed tracks and headed towards the balcony. It came to a halt with the hiss of hydraulics, two meters or so of its top part sticking above the balcony. The man went over to the machine and opened a door in the front.
“Ladies first.” he proclaimed, allowing Dawson to step into the small cabin with Life still clinging on to his arm. The man stepped in after them and closed.
The vehicle came to life once more and hurried out on the tracks with the rest. Dawson could feel the acceleration press on his body as it speeded up to match the other machines.
The cabin was fairly small, enough for two persons maybe, but two persons and a gigantic bird made the place feel cramped.
“What is this place?” Dawson said when his curiosity overcame his fear. He needed something else than the events of the last hour to think about.
“I’m not surprised you don’t know.” the man answered. “Not many people in the city think about where their food comes from.”
“From the farms, of course.”
“Yeah, but how does it get from the farms into the city, where you eat it?”
“I… never thought of that.” Dawson confessed.
“That’s what I’m telling you. No one ever thinks about it.” the man continued. “It comes in on these underground freighters. I know because I worked here for years. Hundred and fifteen to be exact. Would have attracted attention from the humans one would think, but there are no humans down here, only robots. As long as everything worked as it should no one bothered to check how old the maintenance guy was. Faction didn’t notice, humans didn’t notice, robots certainly didn’t.”
He fell silent for a while looking out of the cabin window at the dim emergency lights flashing by outside.
“And then electrical ruined it all.” the man sighed. “Found me in a routine check-up. By then they couldn’t just remove me without some boring company man noticing that the old maintenance guy, who needs to be replaced, have worked for a very, very long time. They literally had to glitch me out of the system. I liked it down here, peace and quiet without any big demands. Robots don’t try to fuck you over.”

Yes it was!
Hahaha that's the problem with us writing faster than we draw. We're not keeping up with the character illustrations XD
And then the descriptions get a bit... diffuse as we don't know exactly what the character will look like.

You know, when I'm drawing them I sometimes realize the design I had in mind doesn't fit the character at all. Edgar had for example black hair in my head up until I started to actually draw him.

When Jedni wrote that text she was trying to make me tell her what he looked like and I was like: Well I don't know. Or... well I know but I'm not sure, It might change.... He looks.... Plain?
