I decided to do an update to Delmar's feral demon form. For a bunch of reasons I was very happy and proud of his old design, I still am. But I drew it sooooo long ago. When I drew it I didn't know the character as well as I do today and  sometimes I just don't feel it fit's him anymore. I always describe him as a fast and agile person but I feel his old design looks too heavy for that. I've also gotten better at drawing and designing in the past three years so I wanted to see what I could come up with today. The last and final reason is simply that I can't draw the old design so I'm happy with the result. I can't make out the anatomy so I can't figure out how he moves so to speak XD This time I wanted to do a more proper design. I was also aiming for a simpler design so I would want to draw it several times again. I wanted a more comic friendly design. So a lot of sketches later this is the design I settled for.



He has two wings not one I just removed one of them for practical reasons it was taking too much space XD

It definitely is sleeker than his old design. One thing I don't understand is how he flies.

Oh.

1. We just decide about that trade.

2. I tell you want I want and you tell my what you want (Type of creatures, for example: water monster? Ground dragon or giant bat?  you know)

3. I made one monster/creature for you and you made for me

4. When you end your design for me you should note me or just post your design and mention me (I do the same thing ofc).

5. And Design Trade is done when you get a design made by me and I get one design made by you.


You got it? xDDDD

Thanks! I had a hate love to the crystal feet XD I love them but they are impossible to redraw so they look good.

yea the crystal feet just made him look too heavy and boxy

but i wish u kept the purple xD ^^
or make his veins a little purplely

Ohhhh its so beautiful <3 <3

I really feel like its easier to make out how his wings are compared to the older one and also in this one he seems less bulkier and so you could think his a little pit more swifter XD
Also really like the fact that there is less ice and he looks more like a dragon now  
Tbh, now comparing them both carefully, id say this art has less detail, but it still contains the cool, awesome and complex vibe that i really like

I think this design is overall easier to understand. The old one felt like a bunch of lines that looked cool together but it was hard to tell what actually was happening in the design. And I don't like the bulkiness from his old concept.
