Very smooth writing, very smooth.
Well it's the middle of summer here in Florida and I'm realizing how much I miss the cold, snowy north! I would complain about it, like everyone, but that last bit reminds me of how much I've come to appreciate that it's a part of me. And that's how it always is, you wish winter would never come again when the relief of spring comes, but when it comes again, you know you're in for the long haul, so you'd better take some kind of pleasure from it! And the picture nicely captures the sweet part of the season, the things you just have to love about it.

Thanks very much for the thoughtful comment.
I've been back in Florida for the last 6 years, so I've been
avoiding winter altogether. I miss having seasons. Mostly
autumn, but I'm good with a few weeks of winter. Ha.

You're welcome. Oh, well that's a coincidence!
It will be an adjustment. The weirdest part to me is wanting to be inside all day while its bright and sunny out.

Iβm trying to leave a comment about how eerily close to home this feels when I think about the winter. The synergy is strong with the words and image.Β

Thank you. This was another one where I scribbled something and she graciously agreed to illustrate it.

Featured finally:
Coming To BirthIt is fitting, in this last feature as I lay this format to rest, to quote a wonderful old poem by Arthur William O'Shaugnessy, called "Ode". I believe the analysis provided at https://poemanalysis.com/ode-arthur-oshaughnessy-poem-analysis/ is very worth a minute of your time, as an artist, and the complete poem appears below the features. As I embark, renewed in spirit, on a new/old artistic quest, I present with joy these beautiful works by your fellow artists along with two delightful Owl City Wall-E videos. I hope you enjoy them, and to all a very blessed week!Β With all my , yours in Christ always, Debra

The first 4 lines demand a visual (which is supplied) and even though they are a bit surreal the last bit forces the mind to look to the visual there and come up with a (not overpowering) visual of your own.
