I know it seems like I don't draw much these days. But I do! They're just random nonsensical doodles I do during lunch break at work though. So I decided to clean some up during free time and post them up because...they'll just vanish into the abyss anyway. Expect some more stupid random uploads.Believe it or not, this isn't just some random generic moe kitty anime maid girl...
For those of you who know all the stupid things I've done over the years... this is actually Ghibli's "Cat Returns" fanart, specifically for an AU fic I wrote years ago. In which Haru is stuck in the Kingdom of Cats and took a job as a Lady's Maid for a Noblewoman...er...cat.
Never finished it, though new chapters waiting to be uploaded are still sitting on my computer. (ashamed) But oh well. I was feeling nostalgic about it for some reason. It was written at a time where I was fangirling over the anime "Victorian Romance Emma" and "Cat Returns" and just decided to mush the two together. Whatever.
Done in Flash.

I always read Baron's lines in his voice, and he pops out of the story, kind of. You wrote his parts well

It's too bad the fanfic was unceremoniously left floating around in story limbo back in 2008. I really would have loved to read a proper ending. I hate cliffhangers! But there's nothing I can do about it so oh well...

I only read the first chapter and I love it already; oddly enough I just watched "The Cat Returns" a few nights ago and I hope you actually post the rest of the chapters up cuz i'd be sad if it was never finished; i don't like good stories being unfinished; but I do love how true to character they are
