Location: View of the National Wallace monument with Stirling City in the background, Central Scotland_________
I took this at the beginning of a long hike into the Ochils. I had just stripped off a few layers, tied laces, re-attached gaiters and what not when I took this shot. I missed the best of the low cloud that made the shot more interesting as I was pre-occupied.

to me, this is an incredible shot, I grew up on stories of William Wallace ( I am half Scot half Irish) and this pic captures his spirit looking over Scotland...still protecting his country
