Hey y'all! Yes, I've been busy this took me on-and-off a collection of 12+ hours especially the editing bit. I'll be posting the progress GIF probably tomorrow but for now enjoy my contest entry for XWildfeatherX 's Comic Redraw Contest this is a *technically a page and a half* of my entry, the bottom half of Page 30 of Shadowpool's Story as well as the full Page 31 of Shadowpool's Story . I'm WAYY too exhausted to write anything more than the line art credits and the story behind the pages.

So why did I draw the bottom half of page 30?
I drew those two panels because I thought they went along nicely with Page 31 and because I didn't want to draw a smidge of a page I added them on.

What made me draw Shadowpool's claws on panel 3 instead of a headshot?
Because I didn't want to draw two headshots because (lets face it that didn't sound very appealing to me) I wanted to showcase her emotion better than I could have with two headshots. So I drew her claws scraping against the snow or ground for an effect of annoyance and/or anger.

Why are Shadowpool's eyes shaded in on panel 4?
Good question! And I am totally ready to admit it was because I completely failed at drawing her eyes. Yep, they were a total pain to draw so I took the easy way out and made her look WAYY to edgey... so sorry about that.

What drawing and/or editing tool(s) did I use?
Because I'm cheap I always use Sketchpad on my laptop as well as to make the comic format, Baazart on my phone. They work for the purpose I use them for and actually manage to turn out well.

So just gonna give a heads up because this is a contest I'm going to be VERY specific about what line arts I used to make certain panels. If you don't want to read the nitty-gritty go ahead and look away now.

I drew the background as well as redid the original line-art, and added coloring and shading. The text, panel layout and speech bubbles (as well as sound text) I did myself with the help of Baazart.

Shadowpool and Wolfpelt belong to XWildfeatherX as well as the concept of the comic and poses in general

This was really fun but really tiring to do and I'll probably NEVER do another comic redraw contest again just because of how long it took. Thanks for hosting XWildfeatherX , it was a pleasure doing something I've never done before and I hope you like it.
