JJust a design idea for one of Simba's cousins that appeared in one of the comics. Ndoto means 'Dream' in swahili. It was chosen due to its similarity to only other name given for a cousin of Simbas, Mtoto.

Ndoto and her brother Mtoto were born to Sarabi's sister Naanda and her mate shortly before Mufasa's death. Both cubs were lucky enough to be spared from the death and starvation through the willpower and strength of their parents. The gloomy look of the pridelands rubbed off onto Ndoto, causing her to form a rather bleak and dreary personality. she chose to stay in the pridelands after Simba's return, eventually having her own cubs (Babu and Boga).
