In my version Scar and Zira are Nuka and Vitani's parents and Tama and Chumvi are Kovu's real parents. Also Chumvi is one of Scar's cubs with one of Sarabi's sisters

I'm thinking Chumvi is Zira's brother and either Vitani gets her looks from ziras or something happens to tama and chumvi and zira ends up adopting Vitani

I prefer Vitani being Scar's daughter with Zira because I don't think Scar would adopt a girl which will not rule the Pridelands. I mean, the real king should be another lion from another pride as the only male cub there is Nuka. When Vitani was born Scar didn't wanted her as the next ruler and shortly after that Kovu is born. Chumvi was Scar's son, but he never accepted him (is a long story), and he has Kovu with Tama. Scar didn't approve a lion could have a cub, because he could challenge Scar having a son, and as Kovu has Scar's blood (Scar is Kovu's grandfather), Scar told them to give him Kovu and Chumvi would live but in another pride with Tama.
As I said is a long story, here is not fully explained xD
