Description
Here's a prototype cover for Reapettes; the first draft of my pilot is finished, but I am not satisfied with it, so I must dedicated weeks to rewriting it. I don't like the climax, I find it too preachy and unsubtle, and there is an unfortunate implication my mother caught in my script that "weirdos can only be friends with other weirdos", which is NOT what I want the message of pilot to come across as. I must rewrite the pilot, remove any unfortunate implications, and improve its overall quality. Don't fret! Reapettes is still having episodes written for it, unfortunately though Eclipse no longer has Sta.sh Writer, making it hard to upload stories. Once Sta.sh writer returns to DeviantArt, Jason and Amelia will return and Reapettes will come!
Synopsis:
"Death finds himself in the search for new apprentices to help him deal with the supernatural mishaps of the multiverse. Skilled grim reapers that must be competent, serious, and powerful; but instead, he ends up saddled with three disordered teenage girls. Vivian Crypt, an polite, intelligent, but awkward Autistic goth who's a fangirl for all things spooky and kooky; April May, a slightly ditzy but lovable sweetheart with ADHD; and Erica Holperd, a sarcastic but smart girl with developed depression. Now Vivian, Erica, and April must brave through the grim tasks assigned to them, from fighting off ghouls and monsters, to protecting sacred objects, to guiding souls to the Other, to keeping dark magic and necromancy at bay. As they help fend off the supernatural, the three girls must also balance their lives as 9th grade students of St. Lydia's Secondary School for Girls. The girls live with their disorders and difficult situations, and must deal with the emotional and psychological effects that come from their enchanted yet stressful job. From a mysterious organization of ghoulish mobsters to an eccentric yet suspicious new vice principal with an obsession with the afterlife, the Reapettes will have to take it all on... as long as they don't die on the job."
