I know you hate when people make OCs do stuff with canon characters, and i hate it too, so i hate myself-
By the way, Russiana grew up with Russia because he invaded North Italy and when America and the others take it back, a lot of little states where born.

BUT she is a sovietic country and Veneziano didn't cared about taking care of her because of this, so, while she was growing up she had to live unser Russia's control in his house, like Romano with Spain or Veneziano with Austria.
But sometimes, she missed Veneziano and her home and she never understand why Veneziano left her, because she throught that he and Russia are her parents (She is very, very confused).
But while growing up this problem dissappeared because Russia gave her all the love she needed to accept her fate.
