Limericks are fun!There once was a beautiful girl,
Her skin was the color of pearl,
Her eyes were like ice,
And her smile was nice,
And her forelock only had a slight curl.
One day the girl looked quite sad,
So her friend tried to make her glad,
Her jokes seemed not to work,
And the girl would just smirk,
But her friend vowed to show her not all was bad.
So as the beautiful girl slept,
Her friend searched the thoughts she kept,
She looked and she pried,
But no matter how hard she tried,
Failure was something she had to accept.
However failure she would not speak of,
She knew the girl could rise above,
If only she could see,
She is stronger than me,
And all I have to offer is love.
