- Dan, the leader of the Four Tradesmen, is the Captain's Cabin hotel's bookmaster. He also doubles as front desk attendant, a good fit for his outgoing personality, and on occasion shops with Charlie to maintain the hotel's supplies.

- Alan is the hotel groundskeeper, responsible for maintaining the backyard garden during the summer and clearing snow during the winter. He also takes care of Charlie's horses.

- Mike is the housekeeper, responsible for keeping the rooms clean and stocked.
