With these Five regiments together, nothing short of a full chaos space marine legion could stop them.

If a commander was able to co-ordinate them in a manner in which all of them would still be able to use their specialisation to it's full extend, than yes, you're probbably right.

Are these your favorite regiments? I don't think the Death Korps of Krieg are the kind of people that hug.
Last Chancers and Elysian Drop Troops are my favorite .

More or less faouvrite (mianly visually) and most importantly for the perpouse of the drawing, not looking like starship troopers in green.

As for Kiregans not hugging. I figured that if poeple of krieg are kind of like overthetop stereotype Germans, than their capasity to be 'fun' is directly proportionate to the amount of beer consumed. + I think he and a guy from armageddon could relate (living in a world polluted on the point of being barelyconsidered habitable by our standards).

I thought that Kiregans were mostly vat grown socially engineered stamped numbers with less emotional range than a servo skull, when Commissars are watching.

So they breakout the Akkordeons and Beer and start yodeling?

I haven't realy don much research before. But from what I found out the whole Vat growth thing is more of a theory/rummor. And if it's true, I kind of doubt that they would have technology and resources to grow an entire army of them (considering a poor state of technology in 41st millenium) and most of troops would be

thoguh yes, they are known for their extreme stoicism, and loyality, though I didn't know that it was to such extent.
Well, the more you know...

Here is a book from black library Left-for-dead, about a Death Korps trooper. www.blacklibrary.com/new-title…

THE STORY
"After the horrors of war and the devastation of a world, one unnamed trooper from the Death Korps of Krieg – (vat-born), grown to be a soldier – has had enough. Removing his uniform, he takes the identity of a fallen civilian and joins the workforce on the world he fought to liberate. But can this soldier overcome his conditioning and training and serve the Imperium in a new way, or will he forever be a warrior of the Astra Militarum?"

What i got from this book and other stuff is that most people of Krieg are born in a normal family especially nobles but a lot of the troopers are vat-born and raised as soldiers from berth.  But errs the thing they are all just people with emotions and dreams. They make jokes, gamble, fuck and drink like other Imperial guard. Krieg is a self reliant world with heavy industry.

Well, If you want to know more, here are some basics:
Tallaran Raiders- pretty much space Arabs. Live on a desert world, have strong faith in emperor, and quite strict society. They got their fame as skilled warriors, after their planet managed to withstand a strike by by traitors from iron warriors Legion in a war which concluded in one of the greatest tank battles noted in history of imperium.
Their specialty is armored warfare, and (confusingly so) guerrilla warfare.

Vostroyan firstborn- exactly what their name implies. Very much east europe- themed (clothing very simmular to this worn by Russians, Poles or Hungarians during XVI and XVII century). They have big emphasis on tradition. They often use lasguns with wooden elements, and unlike many other regiments, if vostroyan regiment takes heavy cassulties they will always come back to vostroya to replenish their numbers, so as to keep the tradition of the unit allive. Their backstory: during horus heresy hive world Vostroya has not send soldiers in Emperor's aid. To atone for this sin, every firstborn in all Vostroan families is being send for military service (hence the name). Their regiments are mostlywell equipped line infantry.

Armageddon steel Legion- It comes from imperial world Armageddon. And even if you never heard about it, let's just say that the name of the planet, summarizes it perfectly. The planet itself was a hard place to live before humans came, and after Armageddon became one of the biggest industrial centers of imperium, particulary known for it's production of military vehicles, it became not much better than Krieg. That's the reason Steel legion has one of the better chamical protection equipment among imperial guards, equal to those of Death Korps. The planet has been invaded by Chaos, and Later it was invaded twice by the famous ork Boss Ghazgul Mag Uruk Thraka, so regiments of armageddon had their hands full. That's one of the reasons why Steel legion is allowed to use tactics they use. Imperial Guard is very much against the creation of combined-arms regiments, generally the planet specializes in one type of unit, so that if the regiment or the entire planet rebell, it will be easy to counter them.  Steel Legion meanwhile though being mostly a mechanised inflantry regiment has tank, artillery and sometimes even AAA components. '

Valhallen Ice Warriors- space Finish/space russians.  They come from a ice world of Valhalla, on which most of population lives in underground cities, that provide warmth. The plannet was invaded by orks and despite their coragous behaviour and clever use of their planet's climate, the defensers nearly got overwhealmed, resulting in horrible cassulties and is the reason for Valhallans hatred towards orks. Because of their unique expierience they are mostly used on worlds that are infested by okrs and/or have cold climate. They prefer to use large quantities of inflantry supported by havy artillery fire.
