What an interesting movie... I'd pay a lot of money to go see that.

So for this Macro March I wanted to take my favorite girl Olivia and have her pay tribute to what is perhaps the most famous big lady in mainstream media, Nancy Archer AKA The 50ft Woman from Attack of the 50ft Woman. I originally thought about just rendering the scene myself but considering how iconic the illustrated poster for the 1958 version is, I decided to order an illustrated commission to fit the vibe. Additionally, my curiosity got the better of me and I wondered what Olivia might look like in the also famous DCAU artstyle (It still has the best looking version of Giganta, fight me) so I rolled the two ideas together and here we are.

A 50ft woman sized shout out goes to GhostlessM for doing this commission for me. They really do have the Bruce Timm/DCAU artstyle nailed and they did a fantastic job on Olivia so I can’t thank them enough for that. If you’d like to see the original without the bit of silly editing I did to make this look more like the 1958 poster , then you can see that here . Other then that, that’s it. I don’t have a legitimate story planned out since this is intended to be just a tribute that exists as a poster...

But if I did have to make something up… uhhh… The movie is about a jealous woman that makes the wife of a loyal husband grow into a giantess to try and separate the two, but it doesn’t work out as planned. Shenanigans ensue, property damage occurs, end credits dance party with the nice giant wife who stays big. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ....
