Another comission by the always reliable Svenyatta . This is a fun "What If?" for the ending to show Macross Frontier where instead of the Frontier punching the Galaxy while the Quarter watches on after giving an assist, it’s an extra big Klan Klang who delivers the final blow. Let’s just say she got extra huge in a Macronizing accident and can now survive in space and whatnot.

Real talk I will always see the Macross series as wasted potential. It's a sci-fi franchise with two of my favorite things, giant robots in space and big ladies but it chooses to waste the focus on idol culture and love triangles... I'll cut the OG Macross stuff some slack since they were just starting out but ever since then they haven’t ever bothered to have a Meltrandi who stays big be one of THE primary protagonists. You know, characters the story actually revolves around? (Sorry Klan, you might be A protagonist but you aren't one of the main 3...) That one Macross 7 movie got close but that’s about it. Ah well, at least whenever Klan was big onscreen I really enjoyed watching Frontier. Can’t say the same when she was small though…
