I would say I resent that statement about books but...I use my biology book as pillow in that class frequently. It's just so boring and the teacher's tone of voice never changes. It's just the same monotone speeches about Mendal and his experiments with pea plants the entire class period and it just makes me so sleepy. I never even stay up very late on school nights but I can't help falling asleep in that class.

Funny thing is I might actually be more interested in science if I had a decent teacher. But I don't. I'm stuck with the same teacher and he teaches every high school science class so I'm stuck with him until I either graduate or go to a different school.

Yeah, I've never been able to handle big schools. I used to go to one where there were like 30-something kids in every class. And there were at least four classes for one grade so...lots of people. And because of how many people there were I never got to ask questions and always fell incredibly far behind everybody. The learning disabilities probably didn't help either. So for the past 6 years I've been going to a school that's specifically for kids with learning disabilities and ADD and whatnot but next year I'm going to a different one (which will most likely be boarding school)

Actually, there is very little difference between the way a soft cover book and a hard cover book feel when you lay your head on them, if any at all. -totally doesn't sleep in class all the time-
