This is my first photo-manipulation! I just discovered today that there are stock photos you can use ALL over DeviantART! I never knew that...but hooray! I'm sure there will be many more photo-manipulations in the future!This one is obviously Ariel from The Little Mermaid. I'm pretty pleased with it! I was going for the scene right after she gets turned into a human and loses her voice...you know, when she comes splashing up out of the water for a breath! Kind of a sad moment actually. Hope I captured some of that emotion. It's hard when you're working with a photo but the original pose was perfect!

It is a photo manipulation. I used the stock photo linked in the description & added what you see using Photoshop.

Looks pretty nice (the turquoise around her face is a nice touch; sort-of emphasizes her "exoticness" or her magical self)! Her shell bra looks a little lopsided, though, but that's my only complaint, really.

hahaha!!! if i had a nickle for every time i tried to mimic Ariel when swimming in my pool...lol!
but yes, the hair flip is so hard! perhaps it's the mermaid within her that allows her to do it so perfectly!

Wow, looks amazing! I always thought it would've been sinister if Ursula had given Ariel human form, but with a few aquatic remnants like webbed fingers and toes. Try and let her explain that away to Eric!

i'm glad you liked the hair. i really wish i had a drawing tablet and pen, because then i could make more realistic looking strands of hair. its hard only using the little mouse on my laptop!

dunno how to say this without being perverted but I really like this
I like the colors, the background and I agree that the pose really compliments it.
however, I must make one comment, and hell I could be wrong so if I seem wrong feel free to yell at me, but I think the hair could have used some work as far as getting the watery look, ya'know?
but hell I still think it's awesome, and hope to see more!
